Imprtant Information Regarding SSR Book Projects and Class Novels
We will put the SSR book projects on hold while, as a class, we read the novel, Nothing but the Truth by Avi for the the next few weeks. We will steadily move along in the book. It is important that you keep up with the reading assignments in order to participate in class discussions and pass the quizzes. Reading assignments must be completed before the beginning of class the day after it is assigned, Reading a class novels requires you to read on your own. We will read some in class but the majority is YOUR responsibility. I will NOT hold up the rest of the for you. If you are out of class, check this website for reading assignments or continue to read ahead on your own. I do not mind if you you further ahead in your reading than I have assigned, just be careful not to fall behind. I do not provide, but allow students to listen to the audio version of the book, It is more beneficial if you follow along with your book. |
"It’s wonderful how much you can learn by just being quiet and listening. Sometimes you even learn the truth—or what seems to be the truth.”
